The Sheffield-based manufacturer Gripple has been honoured with a King’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation. The award recognizes businesses which demonstrate outstanding performance and commitment to research and development, delivering products that make a positive impact on the markets they operate in.
The award is the sixth time Gripple has been honoured with a King or Queen’s Award for Enterprise since 2000. These include three for innovation, along with others recognizing the company’s commitment to international trade and sustainable development.
The award is for the company’s prefabricated bracket system Fast Trak, which is used to suspend mechanical and electrical services in construction projects. Group Managing Director Ed Stubbs said that the award was a recognition of Gripple’s dedication to driving efficiency and sustainability in construction, helping customers do more with less by solving real-world challenges with simplified engineered solutions.
