The UK recruitment company Chase & Holland has announced that as part of its commitment to the environment, it will plant a tree each time it places a candidate.

A recent example involved AESSEAL employee Iolanda Andrade, who took up a position with the company in May. To mark her first day in her new job and to record the tree planting, Chase & Holland presented her with a commemorative certificate.

Chase and Holland was set up in 2007. Based in Sheffield, the company specializes in accountancy, IT, human resources, and sales and marketing.

The company’s Associate Manager for HR and Professional Services Lisa Hurst said that the company was committed to finding ways of reducing its carbon footprint and making a positive contribution to the environment.

“Our logo isn’t the only thing green at Chase & Holland,” she said. “As the world makes a conscious decision to become greener, it’s important that we join in and do our bit too.”
