Betterworld member CBE+ was named runner-up in the SME of the Year category at the recent Make UK Awards for Humberside and the North.
Representing CBE+ at the event were Business Development Manager Angela Taylor, and Marketing Executive Katie Andrews.
The company said that it was honoured to be recognized among the region’s leading businesses, and that the award was a recognition of the hard work and dedication of its employees over the past 12 months. Its investment in new technology includes the installation last year of Europe’s first 6+1axis robotic electroless nickel plating line at its plant near Chesterfield.
CBE+ offers integrated supply chain solutions including electroless nickel plating, CNC machining, and assembly, providing services for a range of complex projects from a single location.
Its customers are from a wide variety of industry sectors including aviation, energy and renewables, and automotive.
