Sustainability a theme at BPMA conference

BPMA 1336x744

The ethical, ecological, and commercial benefits of sustainability is one of the main topics to be addressed at the annual meeting of the European Pump Manufacturers’ Association, which is taking place this month at the De Vere Beaumont Estate Hotel in Windsor.

The event is being hosted by the British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA). It will feature a programme of meetings and presentations that offer both intellectual and commercial value at a practical level for Europe’s leading pump manufacturers and suppliers.

Among the speakers are two representatives from the Brazilian company WEG Industries. WEG, a key supplier to the global pump industry, places a major emphasis on best practice in developing technologies and solutions that contribute to a more efficient and sustainable world. The presentation will provide details on its own internal ESG (environmental, social, and governance) programs as well as the products and solutions aimed at supporting its partners' decarbonisation initiatives, and the reduction in energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
